CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A young girl in the area lost her dog Dec. 27, and after searching extensively she discovered her dog had been placed at Montgomery County Animal Control and adopted by another family.
The girl hopes to reach out to the family to bring her pet home. Her family is willing to refund the adoption fee and help the owners find a new dog.
The dog’s original name was ‘Cocoa’, but Animal Control renamed her ‘Tawny’.
