NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Spending an extra dollar on a Powerball ticket has paid off for a lucky Clarksville lottery player.
A Powerball player in Clarksville and one in Franklin doubled their winnings in Saturday’s drawing by adding the Power Play to their play for an extra dollar.
Each player matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball, which has a base prize of $50,000. But since they added the Power Play, the prize was multiplied by last night’s Power Play number, which was two.
The lucky tickets were purchased at Kroger, 1489 Madison St., Clarksville; and Kroger, 1203 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin.
The winning numbers were: 04-17-26-32-49, Powerball: 10, Power Play: 2
