HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Wednesday, the city of Hopkinsville, Kentucky has rescheduled the downtown trick-or-treat event for Tuesday, Oct. 30.

The event will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Main Street.

Downtown merchants and local organizations will be located on South Main Street (between 6th Street and 13th Street), giving out candy and goodies until 5:30 p.m. Adults are encouraged to accompany children ages 12 and under.

Erin, TN also changed the city’s Halloween celebration to Tuesday.

The City of Clarksville does not designate a time or rules for traditional Halloween trick or treating, except that the city’s regular curfew law for minors remains in effect.
