CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The E911 Communications Center recently acknowledged the achievements of employees.
Dispatcher Angela “Angee” Daniel submitted a topic for presentation at the 2018 (A)ssociation of (P)ublic-Safety (C)ommunication (O)fficals conference in Las Vegas, NV held this August. Her topic, Workplace Bullying, was selected over many other submissions. The APCO is an international organization and selection to be a presenter is extremely noteworthy. Angela Daniel and Cheret Collins gave the presentation and answered questions by an audience of communications professionals from all over the world. Subsequently, they were sought out to provide the presentation to other communications centers from other agencies.
Lynn Stuck, who has worked with the Clarksville Police and Fire Dispatch for two years, was recently promoted to Supervisor. She came into the center and hit the ground running and has also been given a Perfect Attendance award and chosen by her peers as Coworker of the Year.

Dispatch is made up of 34 employees: 1 Dispatch Director, 1 Q&A/Training Coordinator, 5 Shift Supervisors, and 27 full-time dispatchers. These diverse groups of people and the E911 dispatchers operate the communications center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They are a highly trained group of professional Telecommunicators. Each dispatcher is Police, Fire, HazMat, APCO, NCIC, and NIMS certified within 6 months from the date of hire.
