ROCKWOOD, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Ozone Falls State Natural Area is a state natural area in Rockwood, Tennessee located 172 miles from Clarksville.

Inside the 43 acres, you will find a 110 foot waterfall, just four minutes from exit 329 off I-40 east.  Because of the picturesque, untouched beauty at Ozone Falls, Disney selected it for filming scenes for the live action movie The Jungle Book.

You can swim, hike, or climb all around the waterfall. There are no limitations to what you can do at this Natural Area.

Park Hours: 24 hours – FREE Parking (There is very little parking along the highway)
Hike: Strenuous (jagged rocks and slippery trails with no rails)
Pets: Allowed.

What to bring: Hiking shoes, water shoes, swimsuit, water, snacks, towels.

Check out all the photos from our hike, and note that this was on a Saturday with no more than 10 people there at a given time. This is a hidden gem that everyone should stop to see.
