CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – After hosting a candidate forum and looking in depth at the upcoming May 1 Trustee Republican primary race here in Montgomery County, Right Way Clarksville has endorsed Corinthia Elder.
“Ms. Elder is a true friend to conservatives,” Wallace Redd, head of Right Way Clarksville, a local conservative action committee, said in a press release. “She is a long-time active member of the Montgomery County Republican Party and Republican women’s organizations.”
Elder and her husband Lee are members of Hilldale Baptist Church, and Lee Elder is a past chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Party.
Redd said he believes Elder’s experience serving in the office for nearly 24 years made her an obvious choice.
“Ms. Elder will bring years of experience to the Trustees office, and she is a dedicated hard-working employee of that office here in Montgomery County,” Redd said. “It is the opinion of ‘Right Way Clarksville’ that a conservative like Corinthia Elder will lead the Trustee’s office the ‘right way.’”
