CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville Indivisible is hosting a meet and greet for the progressive Democratic and Independent candidates running for office this year on Friday, March 23 at Wicked Good Sandwiches, 605 Cumberland Dr., from 6-7 p.m.
It will be an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates and meet them personally. The candidates will be on the ballot in the Tennessee State Primary and County General Election August 2 and the State General and Clarksville City Election November 6.
The following candidates have confirmed their attendance:
U.S. Congressional candidate for Tennessee’s 7th District – Justin Kanew
Tennessee House of Representatives:

District 74 candidate Billy Brochert
Montgomery County Commission:
District 5-Rashida Leverett
District 17 – Chris Rasnic
Montgomery County Trustee – Kimberly Bond Wiggins
Other candidates have been invited but they have not confirmed.
According to the Clarksville Indivisible Facebook page, the group “stands for the well-being of all Tennesseans and against any government action that threatens that well-being. Life, liberty, and health for all. The purpose of this Facebook page is to build community and share information.”
