CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have taken a man wanted for armed robbery of a pharmacy into custody.
The robbery occurred Monday, Feb. 12 at Harris Pharmacy at 1157 Fort Campbell Blvd.
The suspect entered the business armed with a rifle-type gun and demanded drugs. He left the pharmacy with an undisclosed amount of narcotics.
He left in a maroon-colored 90s GMC pickup with an out of state tag. An officer later spotted the pickup at a River Rd. residence. Police set up surveillance at the home and when the suspect arrived, he was taken into custody without incident.
The man, identified as 44-year-old Billy Ray Mauck, was charged with aggravated robbery and served with three warrants that were already on file for two counts of simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $162,500.
