CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –  The driver that caused an injury crash last week on Crossland Ave faces multiple charges.

18 year old Vintavious Lamorris Williams was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday on charges including Reckless Endangerment, Simple Possession, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Yield, Leaving the Scene, No Driver’s License.

A 55-year-old man was severely injured in the crash that occurred Jan. 18 on Crossland Road.

Williams was traveling south on Talley Rd. and ran a red light, crashing into the driver side of the Ford Ranger.

Witnesses said Williams was speeding. Officers found marijuana inside the vehicle.

The driver of the Ranger was taken by Air Evac to Vanderbilt Medical Center with critical injuries. His condition was upgraded to stable the day after the crash.

Williams’ bond was set at $88,000.
