CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2001 Needmore Road in Clarksville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 for 12 employers seeking to fill more than 540 positions in Montgomery, Robertson, and Davidson counties.
The hiring event was originally planned for Jan. 16 but was rescheduled because of severe winter weather.
Employers include Oak Plains Academy, HG Staffing, R.E. West, Contemporary Services Corp., Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Bath Fitter, PDI, GCE, Electrolux, Addus Homecare, Goodwill and At Home Healthcare.
Openings include retail, manufacturing, warehouse, mental health associate, custodial, direct support representative, maintenance, events coordinator, recruitment, customer service, substitute teacher, bus driver, accounting and other positions. Rates of pay reach $30 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
