58th Annual Clarksville Christmas Parade

Celebrate “Christmas Around the World” and cheer on Coach Will Healy, architect of Austin Peay State University’s amazing 2017 football success, at the 58th Annual Clarksville Christmas Parade beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 in Downtown Clarksville.

Clarksville Mayor McMillan will lead the City’s official tree lighting ceremony on Public Square immediately after the parade.

Third Annual SpiritFest
The Third Annual SpiritFest holiday event will be held from 2 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The event will offer a bounty of free activities, including visits with Santa Claus, rides on the International Express Bus, four kids’ inflatables, live music on the new Downtown Commons stage, ice skating, art and gift markets, food trucks and a live nativity with animals.

Live Ride-Thru Nativity at Grace Church of the Nazarene
The people of Grace Nazarene offer this free, family friendly event Dec 1-3 from 6-9 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy a wagon ride with a story teller in this interactive experience. After the wagon ride through seven scenes, guests will be invited into the church to warm up with a complimentary cup of cocoa or coffee, a cookie or two, and welcomed to enjoy some great Christmas music.

Visit Toys R Us and buy a new toy or make a monetary donation Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

All toys will go to various charities in the community. In 2016, the toy drive raised $3,100 and brought in 1,800 toys that were distributed to less fortunate children.
