CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – It’s the trick-or-treat season and also time for Clarksville Dental Center’s annual “Candy Buy Back.” As they have done each year, Clarksville Dental Center will pay $1.00 per pound for your Halloween candy and the candy will be donated to deployed soldiers overseas.
Along with the donation of the candy to our Soldiers, the doctors at Clarksville Dental Center will match each dollar for each pound of candy they buy. All of the money raised through the “Candy Buy Back” will be donated to the Clarksville Salvation Army for their community programs.
“Dr. Mac Edington, one of the owners of Clarksville Dental Center talked about their Halloween “Candy Buy Back.” “Lucky 13, Clarksville Dental Center has been doing this event for 13 years and we look forward to it every year. Clarksville Dental Center is so happy to be able to donate to the Salvation Army this year,” said Edington.
Dr. Edington added that their previous record was $150 for the event and this year they are shooting for $200 for their donation to the Salvation Army. “It is sure to be a great event and we hope that everyone comes to Clarksville Dental Center and donates their candy,” Edington said.
