Laura passed away on Monday, Sept 18, 2017 at The Waters of Cheatham.
Funeral services for Laura Bell Green, age 92 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, Sept 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept 22, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Saturday, Sept 23, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church.
She was born on Feb 12, 1925 in Decatur, AL to Joe and Nellie Pearl Johnson. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clifton Green, 2 children, Betty Carolyn Krantz and Joe Gary Green, 1 great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy (Dana) O’Neal, Brenda (Dale) Ray, Glenda (Gary) Duncan, Cindy (Jason) Miller; sisters, Virginia Hearne, Murle Pennington, Dorothy Ann Reed; brother, James Earnest Murrah; 11 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
