As the 2016-17 season concludes, set sail with the Gateway Chamber Orchestra on a captivating musical journey. The evening begins with a beautiful miniature tone poem by George Butterworth. Celebrating the scenic splendor of Tennessee, Become River by John Luther Adams’ takes you downstream from a single note to the mighty deltas that lead to the ocean. Be enthralled by Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, which heralds the arrival of summer with shimmering impressions of nature, in all its beauty.
