CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The local business known as Horsefeathers is inviting the community to “Paint for the Cause” for an entire weekend at their 109 Franklin Street location, Just inside Mildred and Mables.

Customers can paint an awareness ribbon for cancer, heart disease, AIDS, autism, diabetes, and even deployed military during business hours on October 9-12, and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on October 13. Reservations are not required, and all attending will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win one of the door prizes that will be given away on Sunday at Horsefeathers.

For $20, individuals can paint one large ribbon, one ribbon mug, three medium ribbons, six small ribbons, wood sign, or a number of other items. Proceeds will go directly to support Bridget Brown and Brenda Breznican as they participate in the upcoming Susan G. Komen Greater Race for the Cure in Nashville.
