CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Bethel University in Clarksville has been named an official 2016 Healthier Tennessee Workplace by HealthierTN.com.
The campus and its 15 employees collectively achieved a number of goals, including the promotion of physical activity during the workday, making more healthful food available at work, and celebrating and rewarding the achievement of fitness and diet goals.
The group is also participating in the “StepUp Challenge,” syncing FitBits to encourage movement before and after work.
“I’m proud of the team for making some positive changes here at the Bethel campus,” says PR Director Cindy Chambers. “As an educational institution, we have a responsibility to learn and grow in positive ways — just as our students do.”
