CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Officers with the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) brought some Christmas cheer to a local family this week.
The Henson family recently donated a Christmas tree to CPD to give to a deserving family.
Officer Jeff Derico and some of his District 2 coworkers, who have developed strong relationships with the community in the area of Power St., decided the Embila family would enjoy celebrating Christmas with a new tree.
Officer Derico bought decorations for the tree as well as new advent calendar for Sarahi Embila and her three young children to enjoy.
“Special thanks to the Henson family for providing the tree, and Jersey, the manager at Blue Sky Estates mobile home park, for assisting in getting the tree to the family,” Officer Natalie Hall said. “Great job Officers Jeff Derico and Tracy Braley!”
