CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Trees for Troops brings together FedEx, the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation and tree farmers across America to deliver real Christmas trees to service members stationed across the U.S. and overseas.

Fort Campbell soldiers and their families can pick up free trees Dec. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Division Parade Field parking lot located between 47th St., 52nd St. and Desert Storm Ave.

Fort Campbell is expecting approximately 500 trees. Trees will be available on a first come first served basis to active duty soldiers or their spouses with a military ID. Please bring a blanket and rope to secure the tree to your vehicle. MWR is not responsible for damage to any vehicle.

Since the Trees for Troops program launched in 2005, FedEx has shipped more than 176,000 real Christmas trees to service members and their families-covering every branch of the military at more than 65 bases in 17 countries.
