CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Hopkinsville man suspected of fatally shooting a man at a gas station has been arrested in Clarksville.
According to Hopkinsville police, 22-year-old Dorien E. Meullion was taken into police custody Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at a home on Polly Drive in Clarksville.
Meullion was wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of 24-year-old Tarone Kiaire Williams, which occurred on Saturday in the parking lot of the Marathon gas station located at 605 East 9th Street in Hopkinsville.
The victim drove away from the scene and crashed his vehicle. He was found dead by police.
Meullion will be booked into the Montgomery County Jail where he will await extradition back to Kentucky.
