HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. -The Jennie Stuart Western Kentucky Women’s Show will be held Friday, October 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville.
Now in its 16th year, the Women’s Show has grown to be the premiere event in western Kentucky. Admission is free to all women and the event features several types of health screenings, information on health and wellness, nutrition, weight-loss, wound healing and more.
“We started this wonderful event with a vision of helping women in our community to become aware of the various health and wellness options that are available to them, and to provide screenings for women in our community who otherwise do not have access to such healthcare services,” Beth McCraw, APRN, vice president, Jennie Stuart Nursing Services, says.
Over 80 vendors from across the region will be on hand, and visitors will have the opportunity to sample and buy a variety of products and services.
Participants can take advantage of multiple preventative screenings ranging from cholesterol and bone density testing and more.
There will also be opportunities for free Pap, mammogram, colon cancer and H.I.V. screenings for those that meet certain criteria.
The 16th annual Jennie Stuart Western Kentucky Women’s Show is sponsored by Cayce’s Pharmacy, Jennie Stuart Wound Healing Center, and Aesthetic Associates & Women’s Health.
