According to Fortune, Proofpoint researchers discovered a virus that can give hackers full control of a victim’s phone. This version of the program creates a backdoor that may require you to wipe all information from your device.
The malicious version of the game was uploaded to a file sharing service on July 7.
Users should be sure to only download the official app from a verified source and stay away from third-party sources.
Pokemon GO users have been spotted all over Clarksville over the past few days. On Monday morning, Ryan from Q108’s Ryan and Gretchen in the Morning spotted at least eight users who were searching at the Clarksville Greenway.
