OAK GROVE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a single vehicle, injury collision that occurred on I-24, at approximately the 89 mile marker, on Monday, July 11, at 8:15 a.m.

Sarah Gleissner, 26, of Clarksville was operating a 2014 Jeep Cherokee westbound on I-24. Gleissner said that it was raining heavily, causing her to lose control of her vehicle.

Her vehicle began to slide out of control before exiting the roadway, colliding into the cable barrier.

Gleissner was transported via ambulance to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN for treatment. She was wearing her seatbelt.

Trooper Sean Wint is investigating the collision. The Oak Grove Fire Department, Oak Grove EMS and the Christian County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
