CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flash Flood Watch for a portion of middle Tennessee including Montgomery, Stewart and Robertson counties.
Periods of rain Monday night could bring 1 to 2” of rain along the Tennessee/Kentucky state line.
Localized flooding could produce several inches of rain in a short period of time.
Street flooding is likely with heavier downpours.
Low lying areas with poor drainage are at greatest risk for flash flooding.
Flash Flooding is dangerous. A Flash Flood Watch means conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is also in effect for Montgomery County through 9 p.m.
