CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The 3rd Annual “Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race” will be held at August 13 at Beachaven Winery on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville.
This event raises funds for a scholarship in Deputy Bubba Johnson’s name for the children of local Public Safety Personnel attending Austin Peay State University.

Deputy Johnson lost his life on January 12, 2014 in a vehicle accident while on duty with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Thed 5K will start at 9:00 p.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $25.00 entry fee for the 5K and $5 for the 1 mile Fun Run
(5K runners can run the 1 Mile Fun Run for free)
Chip timing will be conducted by the Clarksville Runnng Club.
All 5K runners who register before midnight on July 15 will receive a free race t-shirt. The first 500 registered 5K runners will also receive a swag bag.
Extra shirts can be purchased by both 5K runners and the 1 Mile Fun Runners until midnight on July 15.
Registration cut-off is midnight on August 7.
Local musician Mike Robinson will provide entertainment during the event. Participants can also order a commemorative wine bottle from Beachaven.
