CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – UPDATE: The suspect accused of stealing a vehicle during a test drive has been identified. The investigation is ongoing. Police did not release the woman’s name.
Clarksville police are attempting to identify a suspect who stole a vehicle during a test drive at a local business.
The suspect went to 1 Stop Motorsports on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. April 18 and asked to test drive a black 2007 Dodge Charger.
She identified herself as Kimi Davis of Kentucky and provided a real driver’s license. However, the driver’s license belonged to a woman who is currently incarcerated in the Murray County Jail and will not be released until March 2017.
The suspect took the vehicle for a test drive and did not return.
The vehicle had a faded rear spoiler and a dealer tag in the rear window.
