CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville’s local television station will broadcast new episodes of Clarksville Outdoors, hosted by Clarksville native Grayson Smith.

The show focuses on fishing in the area, particularly bass fishing. Episodes are filmed at Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, the Cumberland River, and other locations nearby.

“We’re within an hour of some of the greatest fishing in the country and a lot of people really don’t know that,” Smith said. “We use this show to showcase it and bring some good fishing to Clarksville Outdoors.”

Smith brings his experience from college fishing tournaments to the show, and hopes to instill a love of the sport in others. He offered some advice to younger fishermen. “Get in the boat with as many people as you can. Everybody can teach you something different,” he said.

Clarksville Outdoors airs every Wednesday at 8:30 on channel 10. Catch the newest episode this week at additional times: Thursday at 9 p.m., Friday at 8:30 p.m., and Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
