HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Two people were arrested Tuesday after the Hopkinsville-Christian County Drug & Violent Crime Strike Force searched a home and found drugs, a handgun, and stolen property.
According to a press release from Hopkinsville police, a narcotics search warrant was executed at 312 Thompson St. Investigators found 146 grams of crack cocaine, $5,848 in cash, a handgun, 58 grams of marijuana, and two stolen televisions.
The confiscated cocaine has a street value of $14,600.
30-year-old Dominick Merriweather and 30-year-old Bryant Brandon were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine while armed, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking marijuana, and receiving stolen property.
