HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Leading Ladies & Magnificent Men “Together We Can” Power Event Luncheon will honor 26 leaders in the community with a special tribute to the Ambassador of Gospel Music and Dominica Dr. Bobby Jones of BET.

The event helps support leadership/education at Tabernacle Christian School, homeless veterans, and provides toiletry supplies to the Tennessee Prison for Women.

“Together We Can” will be held December 10 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Event founder Treva Gordon first began Leading Ladies in 2011, a community organization to empower and inspire women to win. In 2013, Leading Ladies released their first book titled Leading Ladies Sharing Our Stories of Inspiration and Faith, published by Xlibris Publishing Company. In 2015, Gordon later released the book Magnificent Men: Telling Our Stories and Sharing our Faith, published by Liberated Publishing.

The event includes a Star Luncheon, motivational speaking by author, speaker, and philanthropist, Dr. Cheryl Action Jackson. She is the CEO of Minnie’s Food Pantry and has been recognized by Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey, The National NAACP, and more.

The event will also feature comedy by Clarksville‘s Comedian DJ Pryor and a fashion show by Plato’s Closet and J Palmer.

Special guest artists include Nashville’s own Nate Bean and 4Given, ICM award winner artist Laura Dodd (best singer and songwriter), Billy Mason (the former drummer of Tim McGraw), and more.

Special guest honoree Dr. Bobby Jones has been on television for more than 34 years and is a Grammy Award–winning Gospel music singer and television host from Nashville, Tennessee as well as the host and executive producer of several cable televisions gospel music programs including Bobby Jones Gospel.

Register early by November 1 and attend a free Forgiveness Workshop Session by Global Walk in Forgiveness at 8:30 a.m.

The event is hosted by Atlanta’s own Rick Joyner of the Sheridan Gospel Network and Katie Gambill, President of 5 Star Media Group.

Tickets are $125 and all tickets purchased by October 1 will be upgraded to VIP. VIP seating comes with no waiting, and special gifts will be available to those who register early.
