CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A pickup truck struck a water line in a Clarksville neighborhood Monday morning, causing a water outage in the surrounding area.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Pembroke Rd. and Pembroke Place sometime before 8 a.m.
Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Pembroke Road from Tiny Town Road to State Line Road to repair the fire hydrant and line.
The water outage and low water pressure may also affect residents in the surrounding area including Pembroke Place and Oak Park Drive during the work.
The northbound lane of Pembroke Road is closed to traffic between Pembroke Place and State Line Road. Drivers will be detoured to Oak Park Drive or Pembroke Place.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 2:00 p.m.
