CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The state primary and county general elections are approaching, and in order to be able to vote on August 2, voters must be registered before July 3, 2018.
There are three different ways to register to vote in Montgomery County:
In Person
-Election Commission office (350 Pageant Lane)
-Montgomery County Veterans Plaza
-State agencies: Department of Safety, Department of Human Services,
Health Department, Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and Dept. of
Mental Health
By Mail
– Local Post Offices
-Public Library
– County Clerk
– Register of Deeds
– Online printable form through the Tennessee State website
Online
Register to vote online — anyone with a Driver’s License or ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security ID. To register online click here.
Early Voting begins July 13 through the 28, located at the Montgomery County Election Commission Office (350 Pageant Lane).
All voters must present a Tennessee state or federal issued photo ID, even if expired, whether voting early or on Election Day.
