The Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial Wall is now on display at the War Memorial Walking Trail, 101 Walter Garrett Lane in Oak Grove, Kentucky. The Memorial Wall will be on display for visitation 24 hours daily now through Tuesday morning, October 13 at 8:00 a.m.
An opening ceremony was held Friday, October 9 with Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, Hopkinsville Mayor Carter Hendricks and Mayor of Oak Grove Bea Burt. Cindy Stonebreaker, from the National League of POW/MIA Families was also a featured speaker.
The Citizens Caring About Veterans and the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club along with a number of other local organizations and businesses helped to bring the wall to the Fort Campbell area.
