PEMBROKE, Ky. – Officials have identified the two victims who were killed in November in a car fire on Rosetown Road in Pembroke.
The victims who were found in the vehicle on the morning of November 19 have been identified as 58-year-old Pamela J Phillips and 63-year-old Ed Dansereau, both of Pembroke.
Mrs. Phillips was the wife of Cal Phillips, the third victim found shot to death in the cellar of 443 S. Main Street, and Dansereau was their neighbor.
DNA samples sent in by the agencies were compared to DNA samples taken from the remains found in the vehicle and the Kentucky State Police labs were able to make a positive identification based on those comparisons.
Investigators determined that Dansereau and Phillips suffered gun shot wounds that caused their deaths.
Investigators with both agencies have sent evidence collected at all three scenes to the Kentucky State Police labs for testing and continue to conduct interviews with all who are involved.
No further specifics regarding the investigation are being released at this time.
