CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Three juveniles were arrested Thursday, May 31, 2018 after assaulting a 71-year-old Super Suds employee.

Police said three juveniles entered Super Suds Carwash located at 714 Peachers Mill Rd. around 10 p.m. on May 30 and pointed a rifle at the employee. After struggling with the suspects, the man fell to the ground where he was kicked and hit with the butt of the rifle multiple times.

While one of the juveniles pointed the rifle at the victim on the floor, the others tipped over a coin-operated game machine and took an unknown amount of money. The victim’s vehicle keys were taken and the juveniles fled from the scene.

Two of the juveniles are 14 and the third is 13 years old.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, all three suspects were charged with especially aggravated robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and additional charges are expected. The suspects were transported to a juvenile holding facility.

After the assault, the victim was taken by ambulance to Tennova and then transferred to Skyline Medical Center for treatment.
