MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – A crash involving three tractor trailers caused major delays and congestion on I-24 westbound and 41-A in Clarksville on Tuesday.

The crash occurred at mile marker 14, and one of the tractor trailers overturned. Traffic was diverted to 41-A South, which created more congestion on Madison St. and Martin Luther King Parkway in Clarksville.

Shortly after the initial crash, a camper in the eastbound lane caught fire while sitting in traffic, creating additional delays in the eastbound lanes.

The westbound lanes were reopened around 5 p.m.
