CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police said 17 vehicle burglaries were reported in the city between September 21 and 24.
Sixteen of those vehicles were unlocked or showed no signs of forced entry.
The majority of the burglaries took place at apartments in the Dunbar Cave Rd. and Fairview Lane area.
In most of the burglaries, there were personal documents, credits cards, or wallets taken. Some of the credit cards were used locally or in Nashville before the owners could cancel them. Other stolen property included clothing, laptops, stereos, and car parts.
In one burglary, a victim left a car unlocked while inside a gas station and discovered their iPhone had been stolen while they were in the business.
Police currently have no video footage or witnesses.
