HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A murder investigation is underway after a body was found in Hopkinsville, Ky. Sunday.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after being contacted by a passerby of a body lying on the side of the road in a wood line on Deason Lane.
Investigators have determined that 29-year-old Desmond Lamar Leavell of Hopkinsville died from a gunshot wound. Leavell was reported missing this past Friday (06/15) by family members.
