CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Pet Food Center will hold its 4th Annual Pit Bull Awareness Day on Sunday, October 16 from 1-4:30 p.m.

The event will feature live music, food trucks, contests, rescues with adoptable pit bulls and mixes, a silent auction, professional pet photography, and more. Everyone wishing to attend is welcome.
“Our goal is educate people about the misconceptions of bully breeds and to raise funds for their care,” Pet Food Center’s Michael Stepto said. “All proceeds will go toward free or greatly reduced costs to spay or neuter bully breeds and mixes in an effort to reduce euthanasia and increase adoptions of pit bulls in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.”
Pet Food Center is located at 2243 West Lowes Drive, Suite E at the corner of Trenton Road and the 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
