CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A fatal shooting occurred Friday afternoon in the parking lot of the In and Out Market on Kraft St.
According to Clarksville Police spokesman Jim Knoll, the 911 center received multiple calls at around 3:45 p.m. about gun shots in the area.
When the first officer arrived on scene two minutes later, a man was found inside a vehicle with a gun shot. He was transported to Tennova and died from his injuries.
The suspect who fled from the scene was described as a black male, approximately 5’6″, thin build, wearing a black hoodie and hat.
Police are processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses.
