MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit the Dotsonville area southwest of Clarksville in Montgomery County on Saturday evening.

The tornado began near Dotsonville Road at Bradley A. Martin Rd. and moved northeast, ending near the Cumberland River.
Max winds reached 105 mph, the path length was 5.04 miles, and the path width was 150 yards.
The tornado downed several trees and caused damage to multiple homes in the Deepwood Estate subdivision.
An EF-2 tornado touched down in the Farmington subdivision area Saturday night near Exit 8, destroying 6 homes and damaging dozens of others. At least 2 people were injured.
Emergency crews and volunteers worked throughout the day Sunday to help victims with cleanup and recovery efforts. The Red Cross is also assisting.
