MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the victims of a fatal crash on Ashland City Rd. (Highway 12) early Sunday.
According to a preliminary report, a pickup truck driven by 44-year-old Jeffrey Joiner was heading southbound on Highway 12 when he crossed the center line and struck a car driven by 20-year-old Megan Black.
Joiner was injured. Black and two passengers, 19-year-old Shayna Williams and 21-year-old Randall Pierce were killed.
The crash caused authorities to close the road for several hours to clear the scene and conduct crash reconstruction.
Charges are pending. No further information has been released.
