CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A light snow fell early Saturday morning in Clarksville but quickly melted as temperatures rose above freezing by 11 a.m.

The National Weather Service predicts rain before 9 p.m. with a chance of rain and snow between 9 p.m. and midnight when temperatures will drop to a low of 26 degrees.

A slight chance of snow is predicted after midnight, with little to no accumulation expected.

A warning freeze warning will be in effect from midnight to 7 a.m. Sunday. However, the temperature will climb back up to around 48 degrees throughout the day.

At this point, no snow is in the forecast for the upcoming week.
