CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) crews have finished repairing a sinkhole on MLK Parkway (Hwy 76) in Clarksville as of 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Workers had to dig down about 37 feet to reach the bottom of the hole and make the necessary repairs, according to TDOT.
The westbound lanes were previously shut down but have since reopened.
Crews are still working on filling the sinkhole on SR 76 in Clarksville. They had to dig about 37 feet down to reach the throat. The westbound side is closed and expected to open Tuesday evening. pic.twitter.com/FTFj4Q1l1X
