Update, 2:58 p.m.: After their preliminary investigation, Clarksville Police found no foul play was involved in the man’s death, rather, it was a medical related incident.

This is still an ongoing investigation, and no other information has been released at this time.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was found dead in a truck Monday morning in the parking lot of the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard Walmart.

At approximately 5:06 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to an ambulance call at Walmart, 3050 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., according to spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. An unresponsive man was found in his vehicle, and he was pronounced deceased.

“Detectives from the Special Operations Unit have responded to the scene, and it does not appear that there is any type of foul play involved,” Beaubien said.
