CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man has been arrested after allegedly bringing a 15-year-old girl from Kentucky to his home to have sex with her, according to WKRN News 2.
65-year-old Ralph Goodwin was arrested Wednesday and charged with statutory rape, aggravated kidnapping, and trafficking for a commercial sex act.
An arrest warrant says the girl was coerced into prostitution.
She was reported missing by her mother last Friday, who later received a tip saying she was at Goodwin’s Clarksville home on Fantasia Way.
Police went to his home and found the girl sitting in a chair in the living room. She reportedly wouldn’t tell deputies who she was but later confirmed her identity.
Goodwin allegedly knew her age, according to the girl, and had sex with her while at his home.
He remains in the Montgomery County jail. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
