CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The suspect in the shooting death of a 21-year-old Clarksviller man has been charged with premeditated murder.
On Wednesday, June 13, 27-year-old Timothy Ogburn was extradited from Oak Grove, Ky. to Clarksville. He was arrested in Oak Grove on May 23 for felon in possession of a firearm, which was unrelated to the murder investigation.
Upon his arrival in Clarksville, Ogburn was served with indictments from June’s grand jury for first degree premeditated murder and convicted felon in possession of a weapon. These charges stem from the shooting death of Julian Torres on May 19 near Bob’s Discount Tobacco on Providence Blvd.
Ogburn was also served with unrelated warrants for aggravated assault and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Police said Ogburn is still considered a suspect in the homicide of 36-year-old Tanesha Hardy, who was found shot inside a car on Mitchell Street May 23.
Ogburn has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
