CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) have made an arrest and recovered over $50,000 in stolen property and guns.
Patrick Richard Kraniak, 19, was arrested on June 21 in connection with an aggravated burglary in the 3500 block of Vickers Rd. and two aggravated burglaries in the 3700 block of Tarsus Rd.
The aggravated burglary on Vickers Rd. occurred on March 16. Seven rifles and shotguns, a gun case, small safe, construction materials, $2,000 in cash, and a 2006 Toyota Camry were stolen from the residence.
The aggravated burglary on Tarsus Rd. occurred sometime between June 12 and 19. Two 300-pound safes were dragged over 120 feet outside the home and forced open. Fourteen rifles and shotguns were stolen. A 2015 Ford Mustang was also stolen from the residence.
The other aggravated burglary on Tarsus Rd. occurred on June 15. An expensive collection of alcohol was stolen from the home.
The stolen vehicles have been recovered and returned to their owners.
During the course of the investigation, evidence and witness testimony led Investigators to Kraniak. A search warrant was issued on Kraniak’s residence in the 3700 block of Tarsus Rd., where investigators recovered numerous stolen firearms.
Kraniak has been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary. His bond is $125,000.
