CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville pastor who put up tons of signs over the Christmas holiday has done the same for Easter.

Pastor Jimmy Terry with Tabernacle Baptist Church purchased 10,000 yard signs last December that said, “Christmas is all about Jesus.”

Recently he purchased even more that read, “Easter is all about Jesus,”  and said Christians from across Middle Tennessee have been picking up the signs and giving them away.

“They want to lift up Jesus. That’s all it’s about, and at 77, I’m doing all I can to please my Savior,” Terry told WKRN News 2.

Last year, Pastor Terry spent $10,000 on the Christmas signs. Once word spread, donations began to come in, covering the cost of the signs.

The pastor said the Easter signs are the first campaign this year and he hopes to see it spread throughout the country.
