CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The inaugural Tuckessee Outdoors Expo will be held Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 at the Wilma Rudolph Events Center in Clarksville.
The two-day event, hosted by Beaver 100.3 and Z 97.5 radio is sponsored by Midsouth Shooters will be an outdoors-enthusiast’s extravaganza the whole family will enjoy. The expo has a full lineup of seminars, activities, demonstrations, and vendors focused on hunting, conservation, and outdoor recreation in the Northwest Tennessee and Southwest Kentucky region.
The first 250 attendees each day receive a free t-shirt, and there will be more giveaways throughout the weekend.
Many famous hunting legends and outdoor icons and experts will be on hand answering questions, giving demonstrations, signing autographs and presenting seminars for outdoor enthusiasts of all experience levels.
Harold Knight, hunting legend and co-founder of Knight and Hale Game Calls will give deer calling seminars.
Wade Bourne, host of Wired2Fish/Wired2Hunt Radio and editor-at-large of Ducks Unlimited magazine will give waterfowl and deer hunting seminars, including a youth duck-calling seminar, where he will give away 30 youth Ducks Unlimited duck calls.

Mike Stewart, president of Wildrose Kennels, will present waterfowl and dog training demonstrations with Deke, the official Ducks Unlimited Dog. Deke and other Wildrose dogs will also be on hand for pictures and meet and greets.
Mark Tradeau with Whitetail Institute of North America will give food plot seminars, and Glen Mayhew will give a presentation on tree stand safety.
Many local hunting and gun stores will be on hand selling bows, firearms, ammo and hunting gear, giving hunters a chance to stock up on all their supplies before the season. The expo will also showcase a full line of new hunting/fishing boats from Tailwater Marine, 4-wheel drive trucks from Wyatt Johnson, and campers from Dunlap RV Center.
Several local businesses and organizations associated with the hunting and outdoors industry will also display their products and educate the expo-goers about their organizations and businesses.

The expo will have plenty of interactive activities for the kids and the entire family including a petting zoo, pony rides, and several other hunting games and booths. Food vendors will also be on site offering a wide variety of meal options.
Gretchen Cordy, co-host of Mornings with Ryan and Gretchen on Q108 and survival instructor, will teach kids ages 8-15 how to survive if lost or in need of help. Attendees will receive a safety whistle.
The Tuckessee Outdoors Expo is aiming to be considered the unofficial kickoff for hunting season in the region as deer season and early waterfowl season opens up just weeks after the expo in Tennessee, Fort Campbell, and Kentucky.
The Expo will open at 9 a.m on Saturday, Aug. 22 and 10 a.m. on Sunday Aug. 23 and run until 6 p.m. on both days. Tickets for the expo are $15 a day for adults, $25 for a two-day pass, $8 a day for children, and $10 for a youth two-day pass. You can purchase tickets online at HootStash.
