NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police say a little girl who was accidentally shot by her 2-year-old cousin inside a home south of downtown Nashville Tuesday afternoon has died.
It happened at a housing development in the 700 block of Lewis Street just before 1 p.m.
Police on the scene told News 2 the 7-year-old girl suffered a serious injury and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died. Her identity has not been released.
Police have not yet said if any charges will be filed in the case.
