CLARKSVILLE, tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW.COM) Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 7, for Donny Everett, whose arrangements are being handled by Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Everett, a star pitcher for Vanderbilt University died Thursday in Manchester.
As a high school player, Everett was named a Perfect Game All-American in 2015, was the 2015 Gatorade Tennessee Player of the Year, and District Pitcher of the Year. In 2015, Donny also became the first recipient of the Mr. Baseball Award, given by the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association. He was an All-District Player from 2012-2015, lettering four years in baseball and helping lead Clarksville High School to district championships in 2014 and 2015.
Services will be held Tuesday at 4:00 PM, at Faith Outreach Church, followed by burial at Sango Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 7, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the church at 731 Windermere Drive, Clarksville.
The Vanderbilt baseball team will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Streeter, Blake Atkins, Landon Mosteller, Nolen Milton, Drew Jarrett, Mitch Muhlada, Austin Albright, and Seth Albright.
